PlantJoyCo Returns & Refund Policy
At PlantJoyCo, we take great care in packaging and shipping your plants so they arrive healthy and happy. Because our plants are living, perishable items, our policy is slightly different from standard retail.
Returns & Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
This includes:
- Incorrect selection
- Change in preference after delivery
- Environmental incompatibility (light, humidity, etc.)
Please choose carefully and read all product descriptions before purchasing.
Damaged or Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If your plant arrives damaged, unhealthy, or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
To lodge a claim, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Email plantjoycobusiness@gmail.com
- Include:
- Clear photos of the plant
- Photos of the packaging
- Your order number
If your claim is approved, we will offer:
- A replacement, or
- A refund or store credit (at our discretion)
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Live plants (due to their perishable nature)
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Custom or special orders
Plant Care Responsibility
Once your plant has been delivered, PlantJoyCo is not responsible for plant health decline due to:
- Incorrect care
- Environmental conditions
- Delayed unboxing
We recommend unpacking your plant immediately upon delivery and following our care guides.
Shipping Issues
PlantJoyCo is not responsible for:
- Courier delays
- Failed delivery attempts
- Incorrect shipping details provided at checkout
That said, we’ll always do our best to support you if something goes wrong.
Refunds (if applicable)
If your claim is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Please allow 5–10 business days for processing
